We have a wealth of experience in supporting students for Edexcel and AQA GCSE exams. The Oxford Revise approach includes:
- Knowledge organisers: All of the knowledge that you need is explained and arranged in a way that shows how they link together. These build a clear picture of key historical events, periods and figures. In addition, there are illustrations, photographs and diagrams to help you connect more closely with the topic.
- Retrieval practice: Check how much you’ve understood by answering these quick recall questions. Simply cover up the answers and complete as many as you can, or ask someone to test you and answer them aloud. Remember, revision much be active! So…who had Henry VIII fallen in love with by the summer of 1540?
- Practice questions: When you feel you’ve locked in all the key knowledge, it’s time to practice your exam technique. What better way to do this than with a selection of exam-style questions for every topic? There are exam tips in the guides and exam walk-throughs with Aaron on this page, to make sure you know how to answer each question and get the most marks possible!
